Why are you getting married on a Sunday?
Covid made 2022 dates very tricky to get - we hope you can make a long weekend of it and don't mind taking the Monday off work!
What time do I need to be there again?
1.30pm for a 2pm start.
Anything happening on the Saturday night?
We're having dinner with family but if you'd like to, we recommend The Bell Inn

Tables get booked pretty quickly so call 01255 861199 asap and hopefully we can fill the restaurant up with our guests. Why not wear a flower in your hair to show you're happy to mingle with other wedding goers? We're sure we'll pop our head in at some point!
Alright, alright! I've taken the Monday off work! Where can I get a Bloody Mary and some fried eggs?
We've informed The Bell Inn (see above) there will be hangovers. They've bought in extra staff and tomato juice. We've booked some tables for family at 12pm. We'd love to see you there as well but please call The Bell Inn on 01255861199 to book your table alongside us in the restaurant.
Can we bring our kids?
Only if they are named on the invite. We love your kids (we do!) but there's just not the space. We're hoping you'll enjoy some quality mummy and daddy time on the romantic Essex Sunshine Coast.
Can I bring a date?
Please check your invite for +1. We're already filling the venue to capacity so numbers are tight!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Oh yes.
Where should I park?
There is a car park at Villiers Barn. Cars need to be picked up by 10am the next day. If you can't be bothered with any driving book yourself a taxi asap using the numbers in our 'taxi' section, or we recommend staying in one of the hotels served by our wedding coach service. Please see the 'Hotel Finder' section on the dashboard when you log in for more info.

Is it an inside wedding or an outdoors wedding?
We're hoping and praying for good weather so we can spend as much time outdoors as possible. If the weather is poor the whole shebang will be moved inside. The BBQ will be cooked outside but served indoors.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Wear whatever you like - just bear in mind there's a lot of grass, a lot of gravel and we will applaud you if you bring more comfortable shoes for dancing.
What else should I wear?
Interpret 'Summer Barn Wedding Chic' as you will. If we can limit the number of twirly moustaches and suspenders on the men that would be ace.
Can we take pictures?
Please do, except if the registrar tells you that you can't. Please whatsapp them to us immediately.
